Key Active Ingredients

Organic Rosehip Oil
Jojoba Oil
Hyaluronic Acid
Pro Vitamin B5
Co-Enzyme Q10

This light and hydrating cream is your go-to for tackling any signs of thirsty skin. Formulated with natural ingredients like Jojoba and Rosehip, plus Hyaluronic Acid and Pro Vitamin B5, it supplies your skin with instant moisture. The Moisture Boost Cream instantly melts into your skin and leaves it healthier-looking, glowing, soothed and supple.

Pro Vitamin B5 aka Panthenol keeps your skin hydrated and attracts water to the outer skin layer, holding moisture whilst improving the skin’s elasticity including a more supple appearance.
Unlike other valuable moisturising ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol has the added advantage of acting as both a humectant and an emollient. Humectants attract to and bind water to the skin, while emollients seal in the cracks in the skin, keeping that water locked in.

Thanks to the added bonus of Co-enzyme Q10, it also helps even out your complexion and combats damage from those free radicals - meaning your cells can do a better job at clearing out toxins and repairing harm they have caused.

Quickly absorbed and non-comedogenic, it is especially suited for combination, oily and spot prone skin.

DIRECTIONS

Use morning and evening after cleansing and applying a hydrating Serum. Apply to clean skin and massage gently into face and neck. Follow with an SPF as part of your morning routine. For a fresh, soothing sensation keep the product in the fridge before applying to skin.

INGREDIENT PROFILES

  • JOJOBA OIL
Traditionally held in high regard by Native Americans in the Sonora Desert, is as a vital ingredient in this formulation. It will sink rapidly into your skin for extra moisture, allowing your skin to breathe and can significantly soften your skin by reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL).
The high levels of Eicosenoic Acid (Omega 9 Fatty Acid) in Jojoba Oil means that it balances the oil levels in the skin, making it less oily. As it is non-greasy, non-comedogenic, it will not block the skins’ pores. When Jojoba Oil is used in the facial products, it can soften the acneic sebum plugs and allow the pores to expel blackheads.
  • ROSEHIP SEED OIL
ranother historically renowned and wonderful ingredient, is believed to be the best oil available for promoting cell regeneration and to increase collagen levels. The consistency of Rosehip Seed Oil is dry, meaning that it soaks into the skin easily and does not leave a greasy residue.
The properties of Rosehip Seed Oil reach from cell and tissue regeneration (wrinkles and scars, over exposure to sunlight) to soothing inflammations. The area of scar treatment is one where Rosehip Seed Oil historically has had immense success and it is an effective, non-invasive product to reduce fine lines, improve uneven pigmentation, UV damage and the skins elasticity. Rosehip Seed Oil contains Vitamin E and C and has nearly equal percentages of Alpha-Linolenic and Linoleic Acids, a good source of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids, trans-retinoic acid (precursor of Vitamin A) and therefore promotes collagen formation.

  • HYALURONIC ACID also called Hyaluronan and abbreviated as HA, is a glycosaminoglycan, a fancy name for a vital naturally-occurring substance that’s part of skin’s youth-supporting matrix and naturally produced by your body. Hyaluronan is of fundamental importance to our skin: as we’ll see, it provides our skin with essential hydration.
Hyaluronic acid infuses the skin cells with water, improving your skin’s ability to absorb moisture and nutrients. This is due to hyaluronic acid’s astonishing ability to hold up to one thousand times its molecular weight in water within the cells of the skin. It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by smoothing and plumping up your skin cells, making the contours of your face appear more youthful and radiant.
(Please note that the Hyaluronic Acid we are using is made by producing enzymes from a bacteria-based biofermentation process and NOT sourced from poultry (roosters' combs), as are many others.)

  • PRO-VITAMIN B5 (Panthenol)
Panthenol converts into Pro-Vitamin B5 or Pantothenic Acid in contact with skin.
It attracts water to the outer skin layer and deeply hydrates the skin, holding moisture whilst improving the skin’s elasticity including a more supple appearance.
Unlike other common moisturising ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol has the added advantage of acting as both a humectant and an emollient. Humectants attract to and bind water to the skin, while emollients seal in the cracks in the skin, keeping that water locked in.
Clinical research has found that not only is Pro-Vitamin B5 extremely moisturising, but when regularly used over a period of four weeks or more it can help to take on an anti-inflammatory role, relieving systemic itching, whilst also helping to soothe dry skin, accelerating wound healing.  *Ebner F, Heller A, Rippke F, Tausch I (2002). "Topical Use of Dexpanthenol in Skin Disorders". American Journal of Clinical Dermatology. 3 (6): 427–433.
Topically applied Pro-Vitamin B5 in amounts between 1-5% has been reported to aid in healing and barrier repair.
  • CO-ENZYME Q10
Co-enzyme Q10 is a naturally produced enzyme and anti-oxidant, acting similar to Vitamin E and one of the most fundamental antioxidants. It is found in every human cell and in all living organisms by the name of “ubiquinone”.
Amongst many other benefits, Coenzyme Q10 helps reduce damage of free radicals as CoQ10 aids in cell activity. It also means that your cells can be more efficient in flushing out toxins like free radicals and healing the damage they cause.
It also evens out skin tone. CoQ10 works to block tyrosinase, which helps with the production of melanin, which means that CoQ10 can help fade and prevent dark spots.
